Cow Applique Free Crochet Pattern

Cow Applique Crochet Pattern

Yarn Colors: White, black, light pink, yellow
Hook: F/3.75mm hook

Notes: Beginning chain does not count as as a stitch
Abbreviations (US terms):
Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, hdc = half double crochet, dc = double crochet, st = stitch(es), sc3tog = single crochet 3 together (triple decrease)

Pattern

Head
Using white and F/3.75mm hook
Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 10hdc in ring, join to first hdc
Round 2: Ch 2, 2hdc in each st around, join to first hdc
Round 3: Ch 2, *2hdc, hdc in next st, repeat from * around, join to first hdc
Round 4: Ch 1, sc in next 10 st, 2hdc in next st, dc in next 2 st, *2dc, dc in next 2 st, repeat from * 2 more times, 2hdc in next st, sc in remaining st.
Fasten off

Ears
Attach white 5 st to the right of where round 4 ended on the head.
Ch 1, sc in next 3 st, turn
Ch 1, sc3tog, fasten off.
Attach black yarn 3 space to the left of where round 4 ended on the head.
Make second ear using instructions above for the first ear.


Horns
Attach yellow yarn 1 st away to the left of the right ear.
Ch 1, sc in same st, turn
Ch 1, sc, fasten off.
Attach yellow yarn 1 st away to the right of the left ear.
Ch 1, sc in same st, turn
Ch 1, sc, fasten off.

Black spot
Using black
Magic ring, ch 1, 2sc, hdc, 2dc, hdc, 2sc, join to first sc, fasten off.

Snout
Using pink
Row 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 5hdc in ring, tighten ring and turn
Row 2: Ch 2, 2hdc in each st across, turn
Row 3: Ch 2, *2hdc, hdc in next st, repeat from * across, turn
Row 4: Ch 1, sc, hdc, dc, *2dc, dc in next 2 st, repeat from * 2 more times, dc hdc, sc
Fasten off and leave tail for sewing onto head.
Use black yarn and tapestry needle to sew snout onto head using the photo as a guide.

Attach safety eyes.
Sew black spot onto cow head using photo as a guide.

Sew cow onto white granny square.

Granny Square Crochet Pattern

Use J/6.00mm hook

Chain 2 in beginning of round does not count as stitch

Abbreviations (US terms)
Ch = chain, dc = double crochet, hdc = half double crochet, st = stich(es)

Round 1: Magic ring, Ch 2, 10dc into magic ring, join to first dc
Round 2: Ch 2, 2dc into each st around, join to first dc
Round 3: Ch 2, *dc, hdc into next 2 st, dc, [2dc, ch 2, 2dc] all in one st, repeat from * , join to first dc (8 st per side)
Round 4: Ch 2, *dc until you get to the ch 2 space from previous row, [2dc, ch 2, 2dc] all in ch 2 space, repeat from * , dc in next 2 spaces until you get to the beginning of the round, join to first dc (12 st per side)
Round 5: Ch 2, *dc until you get to the ch 2 space from previous row, [2dc, ch 2, 2dc] all in chain 2 space, repeat from * , dc in next 4 spaces until you get to the beginning of the round, join to first dc (16 st per side)
Fasten off and weave in all ends.

Pig Applique Crochet Pattern

Yarn Colors: Light pink, dark pink, black
Hook: F/3.75mm hook

Notes: Beginning chain does not count as as a stitch
Abbreviations (US terms):
Ch = chain, hdc = half double crochet, dc = double crochet, st = stitch(es)

Pattern

Body
Using light pink
Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 10 hdc in ring, join to first hdc
Round 2: Ch 2, 2hdc in each st around, join to first hdc
Round 3: Ch 2, *2hdc, hdc in next st, repeat from * around, join to first hdc
Round 4: Ch 2, *2hdc, hdc in next 2 st, repeat from * around, join to first hdc
Chain 16, fasten off. These chains will make the tail of the pig.

Feet
Counting from the tail, skip 15 st, attach light pink yarn and work the following:
Ch 2, dc in same sp as ch 2, sl st into next 5 st, ch 2, dc in same sp as ch 2, fasten off.

Head
Using light pink
Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 10 hdc in ring, join to first hdc
Round 2: Ch 2, 2hdc in each st around, join to first hdc
Change to dark pink yarn to make ears
Chain 2, dc in same space as ch 2, fasten off.
Skip 4 st, attach dark pink yarn and make another ear.


Snout
Using dark pink yarn
Magic ring, 3sc in ring, tighten ring and fasten off.
Using black yarn and tapetry needle, sew on nostrils.
Sew snout onto head.

Attach safety eyes to the head. Sew the head onto the body.

Sew pig onto white granny square.

Goat Applique Crochet Pattern

Yarn Colors: Tan/beige and brown
Hook: F/3.75mm hook

Notes: Beginning chains do not count as a stitch
Abbreviations (US terms):
Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, hdc = half double crochet, sc2tog = single crochet two together (decrease)

Pattern

Head
Using beige/tan
Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 10hdc in ring, join to first hdc
Round 2: Ch 2, 2hdc in each st around, join to first hdc
Round 3: Ch 2, *2hdc, hdc in next st, repeat from * around, join to first hdc
Round 4: Ch 2, *2hdc, hdc in next 2 st, repeat from * 2 more times, *2sc, sc in next 2, repeat from last * 4 more times, *2hdc, hdc in next 2 st, repeat from last * until end of the the round, join to first sc
Fasten off and leave tail for sewing.

Horns
Using brown
Attach yarn 3 spaces to the left from where round 4 ended.
Ch 1, sc in next 3 st, turn
Ch 1, sc2tog, sc in next st, turn
Ch 1, sc 2tog, fasten off.
Attach brown yarn 3 spaces to the left of the horn just made and make the second horn.

Ears
Using beige
Ch. 6, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, fasten off.
Make two ears and sew onto head using photo as a guide.

Face
Attach eyes and sew on nose with brown yarn and tapestry needle using the photo as a guide.

Sew goat onto white granny square.

Rooster Applique Crochet Pattern

Yarn Colors: Red, Clay red/rouge, yellow
Hook: F/3.75mm hook
Notes: Beginning chain does not count as a stitch
Abbreviations (US terms):
Ch = chain, hdc = half double crochet, dc = double crochet, sl st = slip stitch, st = stitch(es)

Pattern

Head
Using clay red yarn
Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 10hdc in ring, join to first hdc
Round 2: Ch 2, 2hdc in each st around, join to first hdc
Round 3: Ch 2, *2hdc, hdc in next st, repeat from * around, join to first hdc
Change to red yarn
*Ch 3, dc in same sp as ch 3, ch 3, sl st in same sp as dc, *sk 1 st, sl st into next st, repeat from * one time, then repeat from * * one time. Fasten off.

Face
Attach safety eyes and sew on beak using yellow yarn and tapestry needle using photo as a guide.

Sew rooster onto white granny square.

Sheep Applique Crochet Pattern


Yarn Colors: Off white, beige/tan, and dark pink
Hooks: H/5.00mm hook, F/3.75mm hook
Other materials: 2  6mm safety eyes, scissors, tapestry needle

Notes: Beginning chain does not count as a stitch.
Bobble stitch: *YO, insert hook into stitch, YO, pull through, YO, pull through two loops, repeat from * 3 more times, YO, pull through all 5 loops on hook
Popcorn stitch: *YO, insert hook into stitch, YO, pull up a loop, repeat from * 2 more times, YO, pull through all loops on hook

Abbreviations (US terms)
Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, hdc = half double crochet, dc = double crochet, st = stitch(es), sk = skip, sp = space

Body
Using off-white and H/5.00mm hook
Row 1: Ch 9, bobble st in 3rd ch from hook, *ch 1, sk 1, bobble, repeat from * to the end of the row, turn
Row 2: Ch 2, *bobble st, ch 1, sk 1, repeat from * across, bobble in last st, turn
Row 3: Repeat Row 2
Ch 2, make a bobble on the side of the last bobble you just made to make the tail of the sheep.
Fasten off and leave tail for sewing.


Legs
Use beige/tan yarn and F/3.75mm hook
Attach yarn to row 1 of body skipping the first stitch.
*Ch 2, dc in next st, fasten off.
Skip 2 st, attach yarn and repeat from * to make another leg.

Head
Use beige and F/3.75mm hook
Round 1: Magic ring, ch 1, 10sc in ring, join to first sc
Round 2: Ch 1, sc, hdc, 2dc, hdc, sc, ch 4, sc in same sp as last sc, sc in next 4 st, ch 4, sc in same sp as last sc, sc in last st, join to first sc.
Fasten off and leave tail for sewing
Use E/3.5mm hook and attach off white color yarn to the top of the head between the ears (to the left of the right ear). Ch 2, popcorn st, sk 1, popcorn st in next, fasten off.

Face
Attach safety eyes and sew on nose with pink yarn and tapestry needle using the photo as a guide.

Sew head onto body using photo as guide.
Sew sheep onto white granny square.
