Basic Chunky Beanie Free Crochet Patter

GET THE FREE PDF DOWNLOAD FOR THIS BASIC CROCHET BEANIE BELOW.

My very first ever shared crochet pattern here on the blog was a really basic and easy chunky infinity scarf. (You can check out that free pattern here). Last week, I whipped up a basic, chunky beanie to go with it! I had one skein left of the same kind of yarn I used for the infinity - enough for a beanie!

The infinity scarves I made were a big seller when I use to sell my items and I can see these beanies being great to sell, gift, or to make just for yourself! It's chunky, cozy, and can be made in any color you'd like! Add a pom pom or an embellishment to make it your own or just keep it nice and basic. ;)

I attached a faux fur pom pom on top of mine because I've been waiting to use them for the first time! Don't mind my pom pom blowing in the wind - it was a windy day!

There are many tutorials out there to make your own faux pom poms, but I bought this one off Etsy a little while ago and needed to use it.

This hat is great for anyone - it's unisex and can be made in any bulky weight yarn.
Get your hooks ready and whip one of these up in no time!
